Capabilities Statement

Corporate Overview

MLB Service Group is a registered, independent light defense contractor and technical subcontractor specializing in precision manual assembly, custom box builds, and electronic interface integration. Operating out of our facility, we support defense-prime partners and industrial manufacturers by executing production workflows to strict layout print specifications and rigid quality standards.

Core Competencies

Kitted Contract Manufacturing

Complete in-shop bench assembly from client-furnished components, hardware, and enclosures.

Precision Electronic Box Builds

Secure spatial population, encasement, and physical structural isolation of sensitive circuitry.

Mechanical Sub-Assemblies

High-discipline manual component mapping and hardware torquing adhering strictly to design specifications.

Interface & Cable Integration

Robust wire harness bundle routing, panel-mounted connectors, and terminal routing.

Differentiators

  • FAA-Disciplined Execution: Technical execution is directed by an FAA Licensed A&P Mechanic (since 1992). This brings a deep-rooted culture of zero-error discipline, strict regulatory adherence, and meticulous quality logging to ground-level manufacturing.
  • Print-to-Recipe Precision: We operate without design drift. We assemble strictly to your step-by-step layout drawings, hardware torquing specs, and exact engineering schematics.
  • On-Site Operational Agility: To ensure absolute accuracy for specialized or proprietary setups, our Technical Director is available for temporary on-site facility training loops under sponsored travel agreements or Mentor-Protégé partnerships.
  • Lean & Responsive Scale: As a dedicated independent facility, we bypass heavy corporate logjams. This allows us to initialize specialty contract assembly batches and adjust production lines rapidly.

Corporate Introduction & Capabilities Overview

I'm Melissa Barnard, owner of MLB Service Group. My husband Brent handles our technical execution, and he has spent his life mastering a massive range of complex skills. Most importantly, Brent is a licensed aircraft mechanic. He's held his FAA A&P license since 1992, working in small FBO hangars where you have to be resourceful, precise, and completely disciplined because there is zero room for error.
